Kest keeps your information on your phone.
Everything you enter (people, payments and amounts) is stored on your iPhone. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, it's included in your own backup.
Kest has no accounts and no servers of its own, and we don't collect, share or sell any personal data.
To deliver app updates, Kest checks Expo's update server when it opens. This sends the app version and a random install ID, never anything you've entered. Like any internet request, this also shares your device's IP address with Expo.
Face ID is handled by your iPhone. Kest only receives a yes or no answer and never sees your face data.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone and are not sent through any server. They can show payment and person names on your Lock Screen. You can turn them off in Settings.
Export all data creates a file on your phone. It only leaves your phone if you choose to send or save it somewhere.
If you've turned on sharing with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. Kest has no analytics or crash reporting of its own.
If you delete Kest, its data is deleted from your phone. Copies in your backups or exported files stay where they are. Use Export all data in Settings to keep a copy.
If this policy changes, we'll update it in the app and at kest.uk.
